LandPaddy is a digital real estate marketplace that connects verified landowners with qualified buyers. We are committed to transparency and fairness in transactions conducted through our platform.
This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be granted and how refund requests are handled.
1. Payment Structure
LandPaddy facilitates payments between buyers and sellers. Depending on transaction type, funds may be temporarily held pending confirmation and verification. Refund eligibility depends on the status of the transaction.
2. Eligible Refund Situations
A buyer may qualify for a refund under the following conditions:
- The property was materially misrepresented.
- The seller is unable to complete the transaction.
- Verified fraud or false documentation.
- Duplicate payment.
- Mutual cancellation agreed by both buyer and seller.
- Legal issues preventing transfer of ownership.
All refund claims must be supported with relevant documentation.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Change of mind after payment.
- Failure to conduct due diligence before payment.
- Delays caused by government land processing agencies.
- Minor discrepancies that do not affect ownership or legality.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Submit a written request via support email.
- Provide transaction ID and supporting evidence.
- The transaction may be temporarily placed on hold (if applicable).
- Both parties may be asked to provide additional documentation.
- Our compliance team reviews the case within 5 to 10 business days.
- A decision is communicated via email.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 15 business days, depending on the payment provider.
6. Fraudulent Claims
LandPaddy reserves the right to reject fraudulent refund claims and may suspend accounts found engaging in abuse of the refund system.
