LandPaddy ("we", "us") operates a land marketplace in which buyers and sellers interact through LandPaddy admins/agents. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information, and the rights available to you.

Information We Collect

• Account data (name, email, phone, password hash, role, verification status).
• Seller KYC (IDs, addresses, documents such as C of O, deed of conveyance).
• Listings (name, size, location/geolocation, survey plan/shapefile, media, pricing).
• Usage/metrics (page views, impressions, saved items) and logs.
• Communications (messages with admins/agents, inspection requests, notifications).
• Calendar details for inspections (title, time, location, attendees) when permitted.
• Payments metadata (amounts, status, references) from payment providers.
• Technical data (IP address, device/browser info, cookies for auth).

How We Use Data

• Provide and secure the service; manage accounts; verify emails.
• Seller KYC and compliance checks; listing publication and moderation.
• Marketplace features (impressions, favorites), inspections scheduling.
• Payments handling with milestone-based disbursement.
• Transactional emails/notifications; analytics and fraud prevention.
• Legal compliance (tax, audit, records retention).

Lawful Bases

• Contract (to provide the service).
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics, improvements).
• Consent (Google integrations, optional communications).

Sharing and Processors

We use third-party processors to operate LandPaddy: Vercel (frontend), Render (backend), Supabase PostgreSQL (database), payment providers, and Google APIs (Gmail for email send and Calendar for inspections). We request minimal scopes and do not read your mailbox contents.

Security

We use TLS, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and encrypt sensitive tokens (e.g., email refresh tokens). No system is 100% secure—report issues to support@landpaddy.com.

Retention

Account data is retained while active and for a reasonable period afterward. KYC and transaction records may be retained up to 7 years or as required by law. Logs/metrics are retained for limited periods for security and operations.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability, and object to processing, subject to legal exceptions. Withdraw consent at any time where applicable. Contact: support@landpaddy.com.

Children

LandPaddy is for users 18+ and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
